awesome stuff, i'm jealous

but honestly, isn't this a little overkill?

I mean, believe me I understand that there is a lot to be said for just being different, and there is a lot to be said for just plain having the most radical stuff available, but sheesh that's alot of cash for those goodies. it's not like anybody is breaking any of the standard fare.

in fact except for stock rods, nobody is breaking much of anything in the motors of these trucks.

so I guess my question is, how much HP are you trying to make with this engine? and what kind of RPMs are you planning on turning the thing that requires solid lash adjusters?

well, I guess they aren't lash adjusters any more, because they won't adjust anything, but they aren't lifters either because they don't lift anything, they are just a pivot point.

in any event, good luck to you, it looks awesome so far. I'm sure everyone is looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labor!

later,
chris

Wow thats badass. The only other L I know of thats running that valvetrain is Bad as L. I'm guessing you're the lucky one with the new Darton sleeved 3.70" bore block from Dante.

Silver Bullet they are Crower Titanium rods. No it's not Dantes block in fact its slightly de-stroked. Yes Dale (Bad as L) and I have been sharing info and, are using many similar parts.

SuperFords, really Im looking for it to be stronger than the current built engine, and not necessarily produce that much more power. Seems to me that most of the guys running very fast are indeed breaking, and are running on the edge. Many of the guys running 10's have been through multiple engines. Maybe in the long run it will not be more expensive. I don't mind being the test monkey , so I guess Ill find out.

Hey ShowOff
We have to talk, I got my heads off taking care of some damage caused back in February and found some other problems that I think you and Bob will be interested in.
