Sct 9100 ?

Who has one? How does it compare to the predator ? Can flash and reflashes be done without detection ? you know so the big bad warranty voider doesn't bite ? I have an '04 L and want to maintain warranty.

SCT

I'll find out soon, it's my next mod. Just call Anthony @ JDM and I'm sure he can answer all your questions about it, John H.

My guess is it's the same as the Predator as far being detected. If they had no reason to check or be suspicious you'd never know it was used. But I think either will show a dated re-flash, although I don't know that they can tell what was exactly changed. So if the truck wasn't at the dealership for some testing on the day you switched it back it COULD be a problem. In most cases I doubt they'd look.

I have the Pro Racer version of the SCT and it is awesome. I do all my own tuning without e-mailing back and forth.

The SCT Tuner's we are selling do not allow you to change the program that Jim puts on the unit. I belive with the Predator you are able to change fuel and timing. We have had great success so far with the SCT software it is now available with 2 or 3 custom tunes, also we are now able to sell the USB Cable to allow tunes to be emailed as well. Feel free to call me up at the shop (732-780-0770) for any further information I can help with, or discuss a good set up for your application. We have many customers already running this softaware: Vinnie, Gator, SKNHD Kevin White From Maryland, Bill "HD" from Maine, and many more.

I have a SCT 9100 street tune currently on my truck and a back up tune for race gas. I have no numbers to post (yet) but I can tell you that I did this when I installed the tune with my 4lber and other mods. From what I gathered, no one can say for sure weather a flash tuner is detectable or not. I would have to think there is some type of evidence to show if the computer was altered or not via some type of memory stored in a hidden file or something of that nature.
