Drop Shackles
If you check around, you'll note that most recommend the 3" shackle that a few vendors have. This would be due to the increased spring rate in the back with them bringing the payload of the truck up.
Myself, I am going to go with a 2" shackle. I only want to remove a bit from the back and don't mind a slight rake. I am trying to find a set though with grease fittings and urethane bushings....haven't found them yet.

You don't have to spend money!!??
Just cut 2" out of the middle of your stock end links. Grind a healthy chamfer on both pieces and have someone weld them back together. It's simple, effective, and will noticably stiffen things up.
Did on mine anyway.... Rich

Ive got an 03 which sits higher in the rear and I installed 2'' shackles for djm,I got about 2'',Then I bought some 2001 rear leafs from a guy I know and put them on.I now sit 1/2'' higher in the rear which is about a 21/2''-3'' drop and never touched my sway bars and havent had a problem yet.Nor did I have any vibration problems eigther.Make sure you grease up the new shackles though,I forgot and had a terrible noise till I realized the dumb -azz mistake I made.I greased um up and have enjoyed them ever since
