There's a lot more to it than just slapping the blower on. He'll need the lower intake, the intercooler, different EGR... and the list goes on.

Do a search, it's been covered in detail.

If it has a blower on it already, I think the only difference is the bolt pattern. You will have to drill I think 2 new holes to match it.

If not like he said

It would be easier to get a kit designed for your truck, maybe Kenne Bell has one.

1st....2000 is the 1st year for HD trucks.

2nd....search up on NHTOC.com about a L blower swap onto a n/a HD. cpharley just recently did it to his 01 and has posted all the parts needed and the problems he encountered. madferrari(sp?) also did the swap on his n/a and has posted lots of info there as well

I wouldn't recommend it.

All that work and you still end up with a too high compression motor not built for a S/C.

Besides the tranny that cannot handle the power.

Talk with this guy. He has the parts list and can aquire all the parts you need.

http://www.madenterprise.com/scparts.htm

He has done the swap onto a standard F150, which, for the most part the 99 harley is. The swap, with tuning, will more than likely be cheaper than an aftermarket kit. I believe the 2001 Harley used a 4R100 tranny. The 99 may use the same, even so with a shift kit the 4R70 can handle alot of abuse. There are plenty of guys running blowers with them. I beat on my last F150 which had a 4R70 and it held up well to 420 lb/ft of tq. In fact 25,000 miles worth of abuse.

It can be done and MAD does have a reasonably complete package sans software. However this is for a person who has a complete blower "assembly" which would include everything on top of the engine, from the intercooler up through the throttle body incudling wires, bracket, etc. If not, could be cost prohibitive.

I am doing same on stock F150.

there is NO such thing as a 99 harley! they started in 2000

all 00's and most 01's have the 4R70W, some 01's that got the towpackage had the 4R100. then in 02-03 with the s/c stock they all have the 4R100

OK!

That is what the original post asked. Besides the main point being, will the L blower work on an n/a Harley . Yes, with the proper parts it will.
