Yeah, what they said......... Insurance usually covers it if the crack is in the drivers field of view. In the states that don't cover it 100% from insurance........ alot of the glass companys will pay your deductable.

Joe I dont think warranty covers a cracked windshield Its not a factory problem that caused it. I got smoked by a rock going 40 MPH

Also my deductible is $500 so this will probably be out of pocket, just have to hold off on that SCT a little longer

Most likely your insurance company will at least cover a "fill" for free no deductible, if its to big to fill worst off you will be out your deductible.

Ask if they will fill for free.

Your friendly Insurance agent..Deimatt

really I am an insurance agent..Good luck

Sorry bout the crack bro

As said usually $50.00 - $75.00 to fix a crack,
but sounds like yours is too big to consider that,
as for insurance, It simply comes down to this, --> DO YOU HAVE GLASS COVERAGE ???

I DON'T.... I go with NO GLASS, $1,000.00 Deductable, and Min Liability. Thats why my Insurance is only 1K a yr (for NY, thats great)

That's strange...500.00 deductible ...sounds like what some keep to cover the basic rig if it damaged, etc (mine is 250.00)..But Glass, fire and auto theft are covered under my comhensive with a deductible of 100.00...If you have full coverage ?? I have to have it for the Bank loan as they have a lien on the rig. By your figure the insurance company would never have to pay for glass on your rig..that don't make sense to me...Do check your policy again...

OK, i will check on that...

I asked my mom who is with the same company and she said $500 deductible, but maybe there might be something in there for glass. Thanks
