New tires,,,Front or Back?

Im going to buy two new tires tomorrow.I blew a front out ,but the ones on the back currently have less wear on them.would I be better off leaving the new tires on the front or puting them on the rear? The ones on the rear have anouther 8-12 months on them at least.

If it was me I would put them on the front and watch them real close for wear.

As hard as you must have hit that rock you might have messed up the alginment.

Im pretty sure I just grazed the rock,But yeah I was thinking the same thing. Also I drive the turnpike for 40 miles a day at 70-80mph every day so Im thinking that having front traction is a little more important.Just wanted some opinions,Thanks.

The F1s harden after a month or two, and the traction kinda fades. I'd put the new ones on the rear and take advantage of it.

Also, I remember a car mag did a test on where to put new tires, and they recommended always putting them on the rear, even on FWD cars. My personal opinion is that with understeer, at least I get to see what I'm hitting.
