Should I put tubes in my new ET streets??
Should I put tubes in my new ET streets??
OK guys, I just panic'd....my new ET streets should be here in the morning...but I forgot about tubes....do I need them? What are the benifits?
Tubes are one of the solutions to keeping a tire from spinning on a rim (it increases the contact surface area with the rim). Wait and see if this is a problem for you first then buy the tubes.

I say play it safe, scrap the whole slicks thing and send them to me.

I thought that screwing the tire to the rim stopped the slipping. The tube keeps you from loosing air in the tire.

It is an iterative process. If your tires are spinning on the rims the first step is to use tubes to increase the contact surface area. If the tires are still spinning then the next step is to screw the tires to the rims, which in turn requires tubes.
