I am a Lightning owner wannabe. I would like a 99-02 Lightning. I would not mind an 03-04 if it were not for the price. Here is what I got going so far. Tell me what you think.

01-Silver 40,000 miles, stock- $21,810 +taxes, ect
02-Silver 40,000 miles, stock, better condition-$23,995 +taxes, ect
01-Black 47,000 miles, hard toneau, 100 miles away $23,000+ taxes
04-DSG 2,000 miles-$26,995 sticker. I want to see if they will come down, but that price is still a little too high right now.

I really wanted the 01, but the dealer would not let me take the car for an extended test drive for the day and drive it up to Denver to get it dynoed, checked out ect. I called the other dealerships with Lightnings and they said they were in their trucks for more than my purchase price on the silver 01. I looked on ebay and autotrader. On ebay, the reserves are set way too high for their price. I have never bought anything on ebay, so I am a little weary. I am also worried about the condition of the vehicle when it is 2,000 miles away. Help a wannabe become a gonnabe.

 

I'm looking for pretty much the same thing 01 or 02 silver... or white. I want lower miles though.
