Spark plugs that have shot out of the motor.

This is for a 2000, What side of the heads did it happen on. Was it both heads, and what cylinder Number was it. I started to here a ticking noise on both sides of the motor. I don't know if it just the fuel injectors that I am hearing. It is not a very loud noise, and it does not seem to get any louder when I get on it. I don't know if I am just being paranoid.

So tell me what you guys think Thanks Jason

It has happened to all of the cylinders, but I think I have heard of more rear plugs shooting out.

If you come to fun Ford Weekend next weekend, we can check them out for you. If you bring a new set we can install them for you.

It only takes a hour, if you help 30 minutes.

Thanks Don. I do plan on going to Fun Ford Weekend next weekend. I am going to take a look at them in a little while, just to make sure that they are tight. Thanks once again Jason.

Hey Don could i possibly take you up on that help in changing plugs at FFW etown? I'm hopefully stopping by JDM's on friday and going to buy plugs there. I can either buy you lunch or something at the track on saturday. If not thats totally fine too.

I was going to get the TR6's but don't have the pulley yet, do you think that those would be okay until i get the pulley later on? Thanks for any help.

Kris

I am on LI in Long beachand can help you out. I have all the tools , even the Snap on spark plug socket (a big help). I can do it in 45 minutes, I guess those New Englanders are just a little slower than LOONY

Guys I tried to take the first plug out on the passanger side of the motor. This thing would not even trun. I tried a huge breaker bar to. It would not turn either way, I was affaird of breaking the pug in there so I just left them all alone. I figure if that one was not moving then the others are probally the same, At least I hope.

Where is Rob with his anti seize?

That sucks, Plugs are a scary thing to break, Mine were a beotch to get off the first time, some of them were in there very tight.

Never did it and not sure if it is recommended but maybe spray some wd 40 or something down there and let it sit for awhile.
