Nice. I bet it looks even better in person with the sun shining off it! Did you do it yourself? My buddy has his whole engine bay of his 5.0 done and it looks sweet. When I get my L, I want to do that too. That is the first thing I thought of when I opened the engine bay of the truck I am test getting. I thought, boy, that would look sweet all polished up!

Yes, I did do all the polishing and yes it looks alot better in person. There is alot of detail work and accessories that a digital camera can't pick-up.

The pulley is a solid piece of billet and I polished it till it was like a mirror. The plenum was shaved to give it a smooth look. The IAC was smoothed and polished. The intercooler lines were ceramic coated then polished to a shine. All the bolts are polished. Several brackets have been powdercoated gloss black. The EGR valve is smoothed and painted with header paint. The EGR tube is ceramic coated and polished also. Once I get my idle issue solved we will be installing the EGR Valve and Tube. The catch can still needs a final polish as it's been removed several times for fitting. We repolished the idler bracket and installed better sealed bearings in all the idler pullies. More to come later in the week.

Thanks all, what people keep asking me is how I got the stock pulley so shiney. Hint, it's not a stock pulley but a solid billet pulley turned to look like a stock pulley.

looks great,

now you know what would look perfect to finish it off. A polished C&L intake pipe or any polished one.
