Seems like a good price - with very low mileage - particulary with those mod's already done. Of course the mod's would be my concern - who installed them, etc? I doubt you'll get any kind of "warranty" on it with those mod's. That would be a "risk" you'd run. I'd want to talk to the owner and see what he says. Maybe he was just "building it up" and never did race it - maybe? I had an interesting experience many years ago when I traded in a 1968 390 4spd Ford Torino. I had left my original "warranty" card in the glove compartment. Of course it was out of warranty, but with my name on it, a couple of prospective buyers called me and asked me about it. One guy's 16 year old son wanted the car - I talked him out of buying it, ha, ha. Too much car for 16 year old. Another guy called and remarked how fast it was and wanted to know what I'd done with it as he'd taken it out and ran his buddies 383 Road Runner in the dust with it. I hadn't done anything with it other than remove all emission equipment, re-jet the Holly on it and rework the distributor timing, changed plugs, and ducted the air intake to the cowl (NASCAR style). But the valve guides were wearing on it and if you slowly accelerated from idle speed it would stumble a bit around 1100 rpm - you could notice it. If you accelerated hard, you passed right though it and wouldn't notice it. But this guy wanted to know; why it idled so high? I knew why - the dealer just ran the ide speed past 1100 rpm to cover up the "stumble".

More than likely you would have done those mods, or just about most of them anyway. In which case, warranty work would have been an issue anyway. $24k with those mods, and that few miles, seems like a really good deal. And of course, it being a True Blue, is gravy. Just have it checked out by someone you trust, or reccomended by someone you trust first. Oh yeah, did I mention, the fact that it's a True Blue is graaaaaavy?

is a nice town--and right on Lake Lanier. Nice place to be this time of year! Gwinnett Place Ford, next to Mall usually has some leftovers. I may have been misunderstood about the "warranty" issues? If warranty not voided for mods, there should still be considerable warranty left on that 02. Plus you want to know if has been a "problem truck". I am suspicious of a truck with only 2800 miles in 2 years with all those mods. You should be able to get leftover 03 for about that 24K.

Good luck!
