i got my new blower today

i have done a lot of research

one thing that comes to mind that i overlooked is gaskets

i have a magnum blower and it came with small amount of gasket sealer

i was wondering if it is for the front pulley section or the bottom where it conects to the manifold

 

It is for the snout, so the fluid won't leak ot. You can reuse the stock gasket that goes betwwen the blower and intake.

Drive it easy for the first few miles to break it in.

What pulley combo are you going to run?

 

2-3 miles should be more than enough

 

i supose its stock on top

the bottom one i had was a 9 inch pulley i bought it as a 6lb

the one i was told to replace it with is a 4lb and it measures 8 3/4 inches

 

Just til the end of your Driveway, THEN NAIL IT

""IF"" your swaping and using your rotors, then I see no reason to break anything in, if you bought it WITH the Rotors, then my guess is go easy for a while, (of course you can get on it a little) make sure all is well, check for leaks, smells, and noises, drive it a little more AND THEN NAIL IT AND STAY NAILED

i am useing the stock rotors

don did leave me hanging there but he did help me with the gasket question so i will let him off the hook

 

I was told it was a 270 mm. I haven't measured mine, since I don't own a micrometer. It's smaller than stock though.
