Hennessey only makes bad-*** vehicles for the magazines to praise him.

He's to busy ripping off his customers to make us worry.

I'm not too worried, that info is all bogus. It's Viper data, with SRT-10 slapped on the top of the page.

I got news for any SRT-10 owners who read that. If you think you're going to put 1000 hp in a 5200lb vehicle through a stock T56, you're nuts.

Well said Capt-O and Sal. While it is REALLY cool, for the dude with money to burn...I'll still take my L. I would bet my L that I will NEVER see a HPE TT SRT Ram on the street. Not saying they wont be out there, but the chances of running into one is slim to none. The chances of running into a 10 second Lightning is a whole lot higher!

You sir have an SRT10 fetish....

I would be more worried for SRT 10 owners who give him their trucks and then find out Hennesey insurance jobbed it to add stuff to his multimillion dollar mansion.

and ok......

i'm willing to bet anyone of us could send our trucks into Jim, or Sal or others and they could have our trucks running low 10's and eventually 9's when they figure it out this season..........for less that what that SRT kit is gonna cost to have set up.

Keep spending money SRT guys..........you won't win

not to mention you can get a set of slicks to fit on an SRT/10 with the huge rear discs that will hold that torque on launch

Don't you have to go and race Rob? j/k

Fetish? please...

Impressed? Yes.
500 horsepower from the factory vs. 360hp like mine?

I'm not brand loyal, I get a Chrysler employee discount, and own a grand cherokee, a '69 and '70 mustang and the Lightning. The ONLY reason I bought the lightning was because it had 3000 miles for $17,000, it was more of an investment, because the blue book at the time was near $24,000.

Regardless what anyone thinks in here it is a damn impressive truck.
I don't see any lightnings putting out that much power, correct me if I am wrong? please...

950 rear wheel HP
1000 rear wheel ft.lbs.

It just seems like every SRT-10 post is started by you! Maybe you would get a better response by posting on the dodge boards. I believe this board is for Fords, and this section about Lightning, and the people that own them. But I could be wrong.

And maybe you need to do a "little" research into Mr John Hennessey There are many of his customers still waiting for their cars as promised. Or even the return ofparts that some how disappeared off their cars.

Yeah, he has some impressive results from the Viper motor, but even a Honda 4 banger will be impressive after dropping 100K in it....LOL

Btw.....buying a car/truck is never an investment
