$42,000.00

added onto the 45, that make it a $87,000 nine second truck...not worth it

I don't see any lightnings putting out that much power, correct me if I am wrong? please...

950 rear wheel HP
1000 rear wheel ft.lbs.
I'm with menace. It seems that no one can say a single word about an SRT-10 around here without everyone doing a ***** check and then going into some kind of defensive posture.

Yes, it is ugly as crap. No, I wouldn't buy one. But it is undisputably an impressive vehicle.

We truck guys should stick together, irrespective of brand.

The SRT-10 may be a lukewarm performance vehicle but it is NOT an impressive performance TRUCK. First it can’t tow so that really takes it out of the league of the Lightning.

$45k plus vs. $30k and they are basically equal 1/4 mile times, one can tow 5,000lbs and the other can't tow anything, not seeing impressive…

In my opinion the Lighting is and most likely will remain the MOST impressive performance PRODUCTION TRUCK and we are only talking about the Gen II for the moment.

There is nothing impressive about 500hp compared to 380hp when the 500hp barely stays with the 380hp or if it has an OUTSTANDING driver may possible beat your everyday driver off the street by a few tenths.

So you put John Force in one lane and me, ordinary everyday driver in the next lane and John Force will beat me by a few tenths. Tell me what is impressive about that? A truck that cost $15k plus more with a professional drive beating me by 0.2 to 0.5 tenths.

However, same trucks, same drivers and put just a 2,000lb trailer on both trucks and I will kick John Force’s *** every single time we race and that boy gets pissed off easy so I ain’t racing him unless I have a few big ****’s in my pits…
