All I need is to chose one last gauge.
All I need is to chose one last gauge.
Its between..
1- Volt Meter Truck doesnt have one and good to know if the alternator is on its way out.
2- Water Temp, Nice to see an exact number but other then that it is serves me no purpose.
3- Tans Temp: Good for when towing or just driving hard but I only tow a couple of time a year.
Maybe I will just go with the easiest to install? What do oyu guys think?
PS, I already have a boost gauge and a Fuel Pres gauge.
Thanks, J

you could use one temp gauge and wire it up with a switch for a sender for water temp and tranny temp, just buy the gauge labeled with which ever one you are more likely to leave it on. this is what i plan on doing, and just locating a voltmeter elsewhere.
I have no more room for a voltmeter in the future. I am running the steering wheel culumn pod (Boost gauge) and the Loteck dual A pillar that retains the stock grab handle. I already have fuel pressure as one and I decided to go with Tranny temp for the second. the way I figure it is its better to keep an eye on your tranny over your battery and alternator
thanks guys.
thanks guys.
If I had to pick among those you mentioned, I'd go with water temp, but the capillary tube is a pain in the rear to deal with.
But, if you want a useful gauge, then forget all of em and get Wideband A/F gauge. So much information on how you're running based on that ratio.
