Yesterday I went to Change the oil and in the engine bay there was metal flakes all over the place. Does anyone have any idea what it is and also what to do about it?

These are the only thoughts I've gotten
"hmm mine did that when the idler pulleys for the s/c were locking up and chewing in the mount"
and "the belt tensinor keep tension on the belts
one for te supercharger and the serpentine belt"
