I just bought a Magnaflow Cat Back: 15714. I thought that the tips had some kind of script on them but they don't. Can any one post pictures of what there tips look like. Also the tips have double tips like those on the Borla exhaust. (a pipe inside the tip). Thanks for your help.

Mine has the logo on them as well... Although my catback is over a year old, and from what I've heard, the most recent version of the cat back doesn't have the logo on the tips.

 

Mine dont have the Logo on them. Got mine about 2 months ago.

 

Do the tips have the inside pipe like two pipes in one?? for example like the borla??

 

Yeah I have a my exhaust pipe inside my 4 inch tips.

 

Mine had the logo; and a friend of mine who got his not very long ago doesn't have the logo. But, the logo will dull and wear off anyway.

 

I bought mine right after Swin74 got his. No logos. It does have the pipe inside pipe look also.

 

eww. Mine is the 1st gen cat-back. Has the writing, and ALSO has the ugly a$$ seams where you can see them

I spent a good 1 to 1-1/2 hrs polishing them up on the inside. I can't imagine trying to clean a pipe w/in a pipe.

 

I don't know what's up with the MAGNAFLOW cat back, but there was someone selling them for quite a bit cheaper than what I paid for mine. All that I've seen lately have the double pipe thing like the Bassani and no lettering. Mine has the lettering and only a single pipe at the tips. I'm wondering if someone can find out if the double pipe and no lettering cat backs are true Magnaflows or just a knock off of the Maggy.

 

yes they are true Magnaflow units. Magnaflow lenthened the pipe further into the tips to elimanate some of the discoloring of the tips. Larry
