Will the DJM drop shackles for the standard F150 work on my 04 L?

 

yes, but you want at least 3", and it will be 1" less drop than advertised for the regular 150

 

I got 2" DJM's for my 03. It did lower it a little bit. It COULD use more of a drop (ill be gettin hotckis in the summer), but it gets iffy and you might need shimwork and alignment if you drop it more.

 

Use the JLP shackle. It's only $109 and if you use the top holes your L should sit almost level. When you install them, flip the factory shim so it points the opposite direction and you wont have any vibration problems.

That's what I did to my '03.
