I asked her if she would take 28K, and she basicly told me to come in. Offers are taken more seriously when your physically there ready to deal. I'm weary of why it was traded in so soon. She said it had something to do with a credit problem, but I don't buy that. They check your credit two fold before handing the keys to someone. Especially a Lightning! right?
I didn't buy a Lightning when I brought my truck just a 4.2L V6. Well anyways, we signed all the paperwork and everything and I drove the truck home. 5 days later, they call me back and said I couldn't get financed. They wanted the truck back and I had about 400 miles or so on it too. They even went and got my old truck and pulled it back around and I had already put my stuff back in my old truck. Luckily I went and talked to one of the business managers and we were able to work out something so I could keep it.

If you buy your vehicles on a Saturday or Sunday, they will sometimes let you drive it home even though it has not been financed. This may have been the case with the person. He could have brought it on a weekend and then had problems getting it financed so they had to take it back. Or maybe he got it and decided he didn't want the L and got a regular F150 or something else.

it's possible

It's possible that happened. I'm going to go for it and see if they give me the 13K for the GT that Sawgrass Ford offered me. IF they don't budge, then it's off the Sawgrass Ford to see about a sonic blue 04 on the SVT POWER LEASE !

I think by law they would have to sell it as used if they processed the title? If it is used most dealers have that no warranty BS. Make sure you can take it to any dealer anywhere.

I would definitley want to talk to the previous purchaser.

I disagree with your analogy of giving you the keys. If you first credit report is good or a cosigner they want you to take possesion to begin your love affair.

Is it the truck you want? Right color and everything if you were going to pick one yourself.

Maybe under the circumstances you could ask for an extended warranty at no charge.
Any used Ford that has remaining factory warranty on it is transferrable to the next owner. It would have a 3 year, 36,000 mile factory warranty from the date it was first sold.
