All of the Above

Yes. What are the dimensions and how did you get the seat back? Looks great! What is your stereo setup?

Me likey too! Would also love to have the dimensions for a good DIY project. How did you curve the edges for the door frames?

Not to be a ***, but next time I would go with a real MDF (saw dust and glue) and also while your at it coat the inside of your box so it seals it up even better. You'll love the way it sounds tighter and hits hard as FU*&!

Also I like to take some bondo to smooth out the edges and give a more rounded look to it and it also seals the box even more.

RTKILLA,

Did that box actually fit inside your truck??? Are those 10's? Did you build compartments or is it one big box? What subs? More pics please!!

I built a box for my old Ranger, and it was a PITA so I was going to have one built (at Music in Motion for you Chitown peeps), but now that there's a couple of really NICE boxes on this thread I have ideas swirling again.

Can we turn this into a post-your-homebuilt-boxes with details thread?

sorry for the late reply, worked all morning wiring up a 35 ford front to back, the had to go eve shift. I 'll give you guys the dimensions tomorrow. I went with 2 10's so i could get the seat all the way back and still use the console. I gained more seat room with this box than the tray/cd changer box. I didnt want give up anything so thats why i went with 10's . Oh yea bondo is for people who cant do woodwork.....lol just kidding ive used it on about everything from door pods to boxes I also know what you mean by useing true mdf.. but my lumber supply yard was out and this stuff hear has the small particles in it also the picture is a little deceaving. I was going to paint this box and used a glze coat on it . then after looking it at under primer in the truck i didnt like the smooth look. so I just went ahead and covered it. I used to build cabinets for a chain stereo store about 10 years ago. and still do alot on the side. they are alot of fun to build. thanks for all the replys. and I'll post the dim. tomorrow.

Dale
