Cool

The sooner, the better.

I put mine in 3 weeks after I got my Lightning.

BTW - Mine shifts very firm, but does not bang or anything like that.

Just sharp enough to let you know you got a little power going on, you know ??

Buy it from Tim @ Chikenears. He's a GREAT vendor... (I know you already know that, but I was just puttin' in a plug for Tim)

I am feeling a lot more confident about purchasing a FTVB. Might do so in the next few weeks. Here is a question for you all, how long should I wait to install it? I have just about 1,000 miles on the truck so should I wait for a while? If so when is a good time to put the FTVB in, at what mileage?
Not sure how far away Farmington is from MA, but if you wanted to make a trip, JGStangs67 stocks FTVB's, and is the most **** mechanic I know. Does a great job, and is a good guy to know if you have a L.

Is he one of the guys that goes to NED? Will he or you be going this May 15th for test and tune? I am going to try and make it, pretty damn sure it shouldn't be a problem, anyway would be cool to meet up with all of you and Don's Bolt...

funny,

I was born in CA, moved to NH, and have been in MA for 6yrs now. It's the natural order of things.

Try it..... you'll like it!

The FTVB is a great product,, an easy sell when I know it works!...

jakhammer: you are very welcome,, glad you see an improvement, it will be interesting too see what happens when you reinstall the FTVB.

01 xlt sport: I installed mine w/ aprox 1k on the truck, I say do it when you are ready,,i wish I could make it to NED on the 15th but my wife is expecting soon, I would not want to commit to it!As amp stated I have the FTVB's in stock but , its hard to beat the Chickenman (Tim) ,,, he is one of the best vendors I have ever dealt with!!

amp: Thankyou for the kind words,, I am lucky, I have great customers and LOVE what I do for a living, and have learned alot from the other owners/ vendors on this site! again thanks! (even if you do have the wrong color truck!)

Jon
