That's wierd how you post these pics up of a "roadster" Lightning. I was talking to my girlfriend about the possiblity of doing one after seing the SSR's in person. He did a really good job on it though. But the only thing is it would have to be functional for me. I couldn't not drive my truck on any other day thats not sunny (was that a double negative or what). I see the problem in truly making it a convertible truck...the doors. In most convertibles the doors are only the lower half underneath the window. No A or B pillar...we have both on the doors. You would have a make a whole new door in order to make it functional along with custom glass windows. Then you would have to address the asthetic issue of the front glass sticking up too much for the look of the topless truck. Then you would have to chop the back glass to compensate for the shorter windsheild...and so on and so forth. Would be sweet to have a powered hardtop but I think this guys truck is about as close as you can get

It looks pretty good, but why do it to a Lightning??

Could have done it to a standard F150 and got the same results without chopping the hell out of an L.

Awesome! There are a few details I don't like, but overall it's a killer.

My Buddy is a Sick **** with to much money. He knows all the cops where he lives, and can go as fast as he wants any time he wants. So if he can afford it why the hell not.

That ride looks mean.

The wheels and rims are just to big for that ride. 22's with a low profile tires would make it look better IMO.

I agree with with team.... also a deep-dish in the rear and a close rim in the front would look especially good

I'm kind of surprised that he didn't shave the handle on the tailgate to match the shaved door handles. Don, do you know if he's planning on doing that?
