Doug Thorley headers?

Doug Thorley headers?

HAs anyone heard of these? I have an opportunity for a great price on these and cant' find much info on them...... i found one thread stating that Doug Thorley made lfp headers-- but that is about it...

they are genraly a great header...but i have not herd the fit or quality on the lightning peices but from experience with mustangs and camaros they were great peices.

I'm familiar with headers by Doug from 35 years ago, but didn't know they were still around. They were good headers back then.

I had a set on my '73 Mach 1 about 25 or so years ago. They weren't the premium brand but were OK. If you wanted the good ones you used Hooker.

haha-- yeah all i could find is that were popular on the 70's cameros and such..... Old school

Now here is the thing I found--- they are for a 5.4 -= not specifically a lightning --- Do lightning headers need to be "tuned" for lightnings or just a 5.4? I would assume they need to be constructed different because of the supercharger...

Either way, just be sure they are not shorties, not worth the $$ IMO.
