FFW, Commerce, GA 2004 Review...
From all of the people I spoke to that went to the Georgia event this was one that if you didn't go to you truly missed out on some cool stuff. On Saturday it was 89 degrees, 69% humidity, and on Sunday it was 91 degrees, 70% humidity.
First off I want to welcome James Harton (Chikin1) into the 10 second club. He ran a 10.72@125.8 with get this, a 1.47 60' time. Now, thats movin! He did that in 90 degree weather!! DL, and Alan Kennedy (Injector Dude) were on hand at the event. Don Cobin on his bracket race tune went 11.32's and Jamie with Paul Gamino's old truck went 11.31's. We had a 2003 Cobra which was bone stock before the event and after we got our hands in it with out SCT tune, upper pulley, and cold air induction kit he was running a stout 11.61@118.90!! We sold several Magnum Powers blowers at the event, we will see results shortly but the 500 RWHP stock block trucks don't lie.
We had over 39 trucks in the JDM Engineering "Tuff Truck" class. We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our FFW class. Congrats to the champ of the event Peter Rogowski. Next stop is the Lone Star state. Houston, TX, April 30th, May 1st, and 2nd at the Houston Raceway Park.

Wish you had come we had a blast
I drove(yes drove) from Massachusetts to Atlanta, put some race fuel in, disconected the sway bar and mounted my slicks. With no other changes I ran a 11.30 even while lifting off the gas just before I crossed the finish line.

The older model green ranger was fun to watch as well. Overall it was a real good event, but my buddy with his Black L had traction issues all day sat.
