Upper Pully Size?

I have an 01 L that I purchsed used from my Ford dealer last year. I have assumed that the pullies were stock, however, after viewing an 04 I notice that my blower pully is quite a bit smaller. I'm wondering if the previous owner (who worked for Ford) changed it. It measures 2 3/4 inches. Can someone tell me if that's stock or what? Just curious!

Thanks, Ed

So it has indeed been upgraded. What does that equate to in #'s? I've always noticed that the stock boost guage pegs out at 10 @WOT. I'm almost certain the lower is stock. My Diablo chip is programmed for stock boost. Do I need to have it re-done? My only other mods are efan, 170 t/s, and 12" open intake.

Thanks for the info!

Ed

Why don't you go through the dealer and find the original owner and ask him what he put in there. It might save you some time.

I tried to contact the previous owner from info obtained thru the dealer. However, he had moved and I couldn't find a forwarding address or new phone #. Going from the 2.93 stock size to a 2.75 or 2.8....would that be roughly a 2# increase, or more?

2.8 is usually 1-1.5
2.75 is usually 1.5-2

everything depends on your belt slipage.
