I got a call from Dons Bolt.

Chiken1 ran a 10.75@125mph...DAMN!!!!!!!!

Pretty much everybody we know went out the first or second round(Don,Jim,Jamie,Don justice). I think Paul Gamino made it to the semis.

Don was running 11.30s , So was Jamie and MM&FFS Fridge

Do not who won though.

I was there Saturday during the second round and took a few pictures. I saw Don run the 11.390 and then walked through the vendors and car show. Some of the car show was rough and some was good as you'll see in the pics. I didn't take many but you can check the few I did take.

JDM

Even though I don't have a cage ( and the FFW officals had a fit this weekend when Shuan Lacko of JDM took my truck to a 10.70 on a 12.00 dial ), I will be gunning for the big dogs at all the private events this year!!!

Plus I still have my NX kit that I could put back on in a couple months

Congrats CHIKIN1. Way to represent Alabama!

Sounds like you got a KB with that JDM built motor. What pulleys were you running? What was you 1/8th mile time?

2.80 upper and a 10" lower by Metco....

1/8th mile times are a secret since I'm a well known local street racer!!!

I think I'm gonna try to make it to T&T Wednesday night!!!!

Wow 2.8 upper? How much boost are you seeing? I'm seeing 12.5#s with a 10" lower and a 3.5" upper (just street driven to date). If I ever run at the track again I'll put on a 3"... but that won't be anytime soon unfortunately.

I'll going to try and make it to the track Wednesday. I think my buddy is bringing out his twin turbo '66 Chevelle too. Would love to see both you guys run.

Chicken your truck ran awesome, congratts bud

As for me I blew my chance to take out the 9 second truck, red lit to his .800 light. I still had a great time and got a chance to try out the new suspension I installed over the winter. The good news is that every run Sat and Sunday I ran a 1.58 60 foot time. Last year the best I could get was a 1.63 60' time, so it looks like I have the final key to get me into the 10's this year.

It was a fun weekend, so once I sleep for about two days I will be all better.
