Factory tonneau Cover

Searched the site looking for soft tonneau covers and have decided on the Ford tonneau. One question I could not find answered is are the Factory Tonneau covers the same, or is there a special one offered as the option on the '04 Lightnings?

Thanks,

The one on the '04 Lightning is the same as the '03 Lightning. They are very difficult to get throught the parts dept. They have to be ordered in pieces. If you order the all parts included kit, I've seen people post that the cover isn't the same as the one the factory ships with. Good luck.

I ordered mine as a kit from the dealer in 2002, and it took two tries, but finally got the right kit. I do not see any problem with it, and it also does not curl like we have seen some do. I really, really, really, really like mine. I think that it finishes off the truck nicely.

I just purchased the "Undercover" hard tonneau so no longer need my stock soft one if someone is interested in it. I wouldn't intertain shipping it anywhere however. I would take half the price of a new one if someone from metro Atlanta wanted to pick it up. It's in "like new" condition. email me if interested.

Only costs about $40 to ship and just have the buyer cover the shipping cost. This guy here has been looking for one and probably definitely be interested!
