Painted interiors?

Who all here has painted their interior? What did you use?

I absolutely love the look of the Harley interior, and would like to add some chrome or brushed stainless... but I really don't like the look of either with the gray. I was thinking about painting the interior black, getting black carpet, and having my seats recovered in black leather...

any ideas/opinions?

Mine is yellow

Hey Guys,
I went with yellow to match the outside. That is a real carbon fiber steeringwheel covered in yellow leather.

This color is not for most.

No, but it does look pretty cool, and this is just my opinion here, but I think it would look even better if all the gray were black.

What I want to do is not smooth anything, just paint it satin black, so it looks like it came that way. I've done this on the kick panels for my Belvedere, and they look like they were molded in black instead of blue...

Then get some of the billet accesories. I had a black interior in my Eclipse, and had done some brushed accessories ( along with dying the headliner black), and black and silver just look so good together... IMHO anyway...

I used Krylon Fusion for the Belvedere kick panels, and I even used it on the front valance of my truck, and both seem to look great, and be holding up good too...

I'm also thinking about getting an Expedition console, and Navigator dash/clock while I'm at it, since tan pieces seem to be easier to find in them, and paint them black...

I think I'll just need to get some black carpet, and either seat covers or have them recovered. My buddy that sold me the truck is supposed to check with the guy that does their leather to see what he can do for me...

TampaBlack99,
That looks great, but I don't want any gray left, and I'm afraid smoothing everything the glare would kill me, and show any little scratches or anything else...

Hmmm... I just thought of something else... seatbelts. I wonder how well they would take a black dye... or will the supercrew belts fit a regular cab? I might be able to get a set from a Harley Truck...

Where did you get those metal door guard pieces next/below the seat right there, I have been looking for those all over the place.
