Diablo delta flip chip help please.. How to use? I have no instructions

I bought a used Diablo delta flip chip and had it tuned by my tuner (JLP). I just received it but it has no instructions. SO my question is how do I use it?

1- Street tune
2- Race tune
and I guess there is a 3rd position on the switch for stock tune.

My question is what colors match what position? Also if anyone knows all the little things I should know that would be cool.. Like does the truck have to be off to flip from one tune to another?

Thanks for any help!

Take a close look at the threads. There should be a "notch" in them. When the switch is in the position of the "notch", THAT is the RACE tune.

The MIDDLE position is the STREET tune.

The position OPPOSITE the "notch" is the OFF position.

Hope that helps.

Later,
Rob

When I look at my switch it has small writing on the side. It shows the middle postion as off and the two outer positions as on?

I do see the notch that you are talking about but am now confused because of the writing on the side.. Do colors of the LED go with positions of the switch?

RED should indicate RACE.

GREEN should indicate STREET.

The light should be OFF with the switch in the OFF position.

I had a Diablo Delta-chip(flip) from JLP, and that is how it worked. I also had a Diablo Revolutions chip from Tommy Lightning that used the SAME wire and LED, and it operated the SAME way.

I would think that all of Diablo's stuff would be consistent, and wouldn't think that yours would be any different, but you may want to double check with JLP just in case. Goodluck with it.

Rob

I can switch from green to red tune with the engine running. I think the engine must be off to go to the stock tune. Mine has been that way only once and that was by accident:o

I just got my delta chip back from JLP and the position where the notch is is the race prog(red light). The center position is the street side and the opposite position is off. The way my chip was from another vendor was the center position was off...I have a green light on for both the street side and off side....hope this helps...JR

I thought that too but thats because the truck was still on. If you turn the truck off then swith it all the way to the off position there should be no light on.
