Caught at a crossroads.

Guys I'm @ a Crossroads.....I want 11's on my stock block daily driven L. I dont have the $$ to go for a built motor or anything, so I'm wondering, can I do this on the stock block ??

Right now I have:
6# Pulley
Predator
LFP Valve Body and Deep Pan
Traction Bars
Slicks+skinnies
accufab throttle body
JLP Ram Air
Bassani Catback

Right Now I'm lookin at 2 options

1. Ported Blower+LT's and Mid Pipes (~$1800)

2. Full Meal Deal Zex or NX Wet Kit with a 50Shot (~$900-$1000)

Now I dont care if its an 11.95 I just want 11's reliably. So my questions are, can what I have plus a ported blower and full exhaust run high 11's ?? How Safe would the 50shot be on the stock block with my pulley ?? What would you guys do if in this same situation ??? Thanks in advance.

From what I think I remember reading, the 6#er with a ported eaton is def pushing it with a stock block. I think most guys with the stock block that are doing the ported eatons are droping down to a 4#er. Im curious too though...

It took me all the bolt-ons(that were available in 2002) , a JDM tune and a 8# lower to run an 11.9s consistently in 2002.

I daily drove it and had zero problems.

You already know it's possible. Rob's already run in the 11's. Yeah Gator I know he only did it once, but he's now got a ported Eaton so he should be able to back that up. Just copy what Rob has.

I know he'll chime in soon with about a six paragraph explination. LOL

I got a pretty good deal on a zex kit right now, and its valid for about another month. I'm really considering going this route. It was reccomended that I get a Fuel Pressure Gauge, Boost Gauge and nitrous gauge, along with a very very good dyno tune. Should I get any other gauges ?? Anyone know the best place for a deal on these gauges ?? Should I maybe buy a 4# pulley to put on just for when I'm on the juice ?? Also besides Rob, are any of you other nitrous users using some kinda plasma/spark booster with it ?? Does it make a difference in having it, with its reliability ?
