there is a guy that posts on my local message board that has a v6 f150 that runs low 13's. he has had the heads ported/polished and bigger valves installed, along with cams, and he sprays it. all i know that he has done cosmetically is a drop i think? go to http://www.fordpower.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10 do a search for a member named Talley. he has a white f150.

 

Im definetly thinkin about buyin a lightnin now, but i got some questions, how much is the insurance on these things? I found a white 01 w/ 16,ooo miles for 20 grand, is that a good price?

the low mileage shows it was a weekend toy, probably not a daily driver. thats a good deal, imop. insurance on my L isnt bad, but some insurance companies dont recognize that Lightnings are in fact lightnings. Example:My inusrance company thinks its just a single cab 2wd F-150. gotta shop around, but id for sure look into that 01.
