Just found out i got a bent valve.#6 cylinder on the intake side.Thats what happens when you put the cams in with the rockers on!The cam must have moved a bit putting the chain on.The heads in a shop by me called P.C.H.S engine builders.$40.00 labor plus parts.Was gonna have them assemble it to a long block cause im just fed up at this point but they have a 2 month waiting list so its back to the drawing board.The head will be done in a few days.I know Rob its been over a year,you dont have to rub it in!lol...Im probably the only one with a 2001 with only 8000 miles on it.Guess thats got its plus.All in all im a man with extreme patience and im looking forward to this season.

Thanx Half but ill takle it.Sometimes you learn the hard way,The rockers have to go on after the cams.lol...Once your timing chains are set you cant possibly do any harm putting on the rollers.I just didnt relize that even in safe mode the #6 cylinder is at top.Had i realized i would have been more cautious and relized the cam lobe was on the valve.Thanks anyway though.
