I have no problem telling you Gator is the favorite to win.
There is no comparison in Mods, Gator is a good friend and he
truly has one of thee nicest L's you will ever see.
Carbon Fiber interior, hard bed cover, tail gate wing deflector (the nice small one),beautiful Cowl Hood, beautiful Skinny's and rear 10" rims for the Hoosiers.
As for the Performance Mods, YOU NAME IT, HE HAS IT.
6lb lower Pulley, 1 - 2 lb Upper Pulley, SBTB, Electric Fans, Cobra Pump, Intercooler Fan Switch, the fulldeal exhuast, AND I MEAN THE FULL DEAL, suspension work front + rear, some Tranny Work, (I believe a Torque Convertor too) and I'm sure a whole bunch of stuff I'm forgetting......

As for the better driver, who's to say and judge that, but I will say
he prob has 5 times the passes in his, and cut's a very mean light.

Me on the other hand is CLEARLY the underdog.
When we met at Cecil, I had filter, chip, n 4lb pulley + TB
(plus my $489.00 Nitrous Kit) I was using 65HP jets, and I was at full weight including full interior, spare tire, and @ 75 lbs of tools, camera's air compressor, rachet sets etc... in the cab.
We ran a few times and the results were he won each time.
His (2) 11.9's to my (2) 12.0's

Skinny's and de-weighting would have clearly netted me 11's that day

Next time we met, was at JDM day in Eng Town last Nov I believe,
Only one lane was prepped due to schitty weather, pryor rain, etc

I was still running a 100% stock Tranny Suspension/Cooling System/etc (my only change was 10 More Nitorus HP + 2lb Upper.

He once again banged out his 11.9's, and I made one pass 11.81
I WAS NOW THE FASTER LIGHTNING
(I did remove pass seat+spare this time)

Since those runs, both of us have added the Ported Eaton,
Gator the Apten, Me the WASP, (I also switched form Truck Trak Bars to JDM 58" Rancho style bars + Finally added a FTVB.
(no ET improvement expected with either of those Mods, I was already cutting a 1.6 each and every time w/ the TT's)

So as you can see this next match up was set to be quite an even match up once again, with both of us within 1/10th of each other again (me ahead), it left it open for the better driver/launcher to claim the victory

HOWEVER Mr Gator has been very busy these past few weeks and snuck in Larger Fuel Pumps, Larger Injectors, More Dyno Tunes, and is now pushing over 25lbs of boost
YES OVER 25lb's (this is in his own words)

Yes I've been talking schitt all along and truly believe the next win was mine, with his sneaky a$$ going Mod crazy once again the last few weeks, I'd have to say YES I will have quite a match on my Hands Saturday. But I will stick to my normal set-up and pull nothing sneaky LIKE HE JUST DID.

"If" I loose, I HAVE NOTHING TO BE EMBARRASSED ABOUT AT ALL but if Gator loses (did I spell it right, hehehe) he should crawl into a shell and not show his face around here
for quite some time.

Either way he's a good Pal, has clearly the Better Lightning,
and will remain my good buddy no matter what the out come.

Of course I will still talk schitt on how he cheated in order to win

ROCK ON BROTHERS, IT WON'T BE LONG NOW

Thanks Joe, I'll have to fix that when I get home.
Hey give me credit, after making it through the 60's and 70's
it's a got dam miricle I can even finish a sentence

Sorry being at work I have VERY MINIMUM acess to my Gallery, Pic's and Info Etc... (dam web sence got me blocked )
But I just remember a few more Mods Gator has:
Beautiful Front Grill, Aftermarket JDM oversized Heat Exchanger plus Twin Fans for that Radiator too (I believe)
Like I said I wasn't sure about the Torque Convertor.
He also ices the Upper, runs the main Radiator Fans, IC Pump,
and I believe the Heat Exchanger Fans also, and won't make a pass til he reaches a cooling system temp he's happy with.

Me on the other hand, I don't do jack schitt
No purge for the Nitrous (I purge it a few blocks before pulling into the track the old fashion way, I STOMP IT NUMEROUS TIMES, Then I pull in, open the hood, swap rear tires/rims, and I'm ready to go.........

I will have to make sure I dot my i's and cross my t's this time around, he's got quite a beast there and although we use to be fairly equal, that seems to have changed and it will be a tuffer race than I originally thought.
But with 25 Plus lbs of Boost, ones got to assume he may not even finish the run

I don't wish that on HIM OR ANYONE

Either way this race will once again be an excellent comparison
between a heavily modified, big money Lightning, verses the cheap old man from NY with his very simple BUT EFFECTIVE
set up.

MAY THE BEST TRUCK WIN......

i don't really care who wins, but I like gator's style.

he is short, to the point and mysterious about mods.

Then again I always root for the underdog, (I'd have to say is Rob)

Rob, tells you everything, Gator tells you nothing.
