Hey guys.... just got back from the drag strip. It was my first time with the L there....no slicks just the good ole F1's...so traction was a BIG problem. I got 5 passes in 13.398@104.15 / 13.079@104.24/ 14.185@100.88 / 13.348@ 104.42 and last but not least 12.961@104.69 I was happy to break into the 12's without slicks I really didnt expect that. And the 14sec run was because the truck stalled after my burnout so I took it real easy for most of the run...thank God nothing was wrong...anyone have any ideas why it may have stalled??? thanks guys cant wait to get my slicks and get some low 12 sec passes

did it stall as in the engine shut off, or did the boost bypass kick in and you had no power.

 

What mods?

hey thanks guys....i have JDM stage one kit and a 4lb lower pulley plus a borla cat back (JDM full exhaust coming soon!!) dynoed at about 410rwhp and 530rwtq...when the truck shut down it was as i was finishing up my burnout and as the revs were dropping from like 3500 to idle as i was pulling forward to stage....I called JDM today (monday) Justin said to check the chip connections see if it was all the way in....I havent had any problems since then the truck seems fine...i was really happy to break into the 12's with my F1's they were at about 25psi. Traction was such a problem for everyone it seemed after every run all the rwd guys i could see were playing with their tire psi. I gotta get some slicks!! oh yeah were do i get a 12 sec club sticker?????

Maybe you hit the rev-limiter and the gas shut off during the burnout???
