9-seconds trying for 12's with srt-10 truck

He's already added
the upgraded intake
Upgraded Exhaust
a 200 shot of nitrous
He's having custom wheels made and slicks

Anyone in Texas might want to check it out.

If he can hook up he could easily hit low 12's.
Only things is that he DOES NOT have any type of traction bar

9 seconds is a SRT-10 owner on the srt-10 forum that is like the leading mod guy on the trucks. What kind of slicks is he gonna fit on there

Actualy they have a factory style slapper bar system. Its basicly just half a leaf spring (from the axle forward) with a snubber on it. Kind of like a slapper bar.

But the srt-10 that one of our fellow Talon members beat, still had some nasty wheel hop. I thought his bed was going to fall off.

That clears it up. I guess I don't spend enough time on the SRT-10 boards.

I'd bet on the drive shaft, if he's only using the traction device supplied from the factory. It doesn't look especially stout or effective. Not with slicks anyway.

Looks like someone is making an extreme effort to prove
a point.
That's what it will take to beat a slightly modified L.

no point, He just likes racing. He bought the truck because it was limited production, and to play with at the tracks,& see what he can do with it
when he wants real speed he hops in his 9 second viper.

That's cool. I understand. I don't mean to knock the truck. It really is unique.
It sucks that one would have to do all that to compete w/ L. #'s, especially w/ the price tag of owning the fastest production truck made.
Oh well, to each their own.

Menace,

As you're infatuation with the Viper-engine laden Sewer Roughage Turd - 10 has reached critical mass, boogie on down to your local DC stealership, hop on the band wagon, trade the Lightning so Tinnman and yourself can espouse your carnal adventures about the greater Detroit metro area else where, or something.
