Chip Problem?g

I just got a Diablo revolution chip and when i put it in my truck it made it go crazy. The truck would start but barely, the intercooler pump would run Key on engine off, if I let off of the throttle it would instantly die. And the Overdrive Off light was flashing on and off. I put in my old chip and it ran great. This old chip is not set up for what i have now so it is also useless. It is a JDM J39 program and now I have an 8 pound lower pulley and stage 2 cams and springs

well as long as you don't go crazy the J39 should be OK until you get a new chip burned for your mods.

Yeah but it will not idle very well because of the cams. I need the IAC to be upped at idle so it wont die

My question is has anyone experienced anything like this with a chip?

well as a temp fix you might be able to ajust the stop screw on your throttle body. Turn it about a 1/4 turn, and just raise the idle a little bit. I have heard that every once in a while a chip just doesn't hold the program loaded into it.
