Yep... I traded my 2001 L in for a NEW 2003 L. I got a pretty decent deal but I've got some questions.

1) Since the newer Ls have the cd changer built into the dash (which I like a lot better) they no longer have the neat little storage container behind the seats. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can put behind the seats there for storage? I really do miss that little box....

2) Can we still get the Lightning mats from somebody out there? I know its been a while since I've heard anyone talk about those mats but I sure would like to have a set of them.

I have seen the storage compartments on Ebay. Was thinking of picking one up myself.

 

Didn't your '03 come with mats? If it did they are very good quality. The '03's and newer came with the Lincoln Navigator carpet and mats I believe.

 

Yeah the 2003 did come with mats (and they do seem to be good quality) but I was wanting some mats that have the Lightning logo on them. I would even consider a "Ford Racing" logo. The current mats have nothing on them.

check ebay all the time-the storage boxes are on there, mine sold for 65 dollars
