4 or 6 lb lower
4 or 6 lb lower
Hey guys just wondering which pulley to use, a 4 or 6 lb lower?
My trcuj is mainly street driven, so sort of looking to see which one is better on the street. Ho wmuch did you pick up going from a 4 to a 6#?
Also, if I run the 6 lb. lower, would I need a larger heat exchanger and thermostat?
Also what other mods, would help get the power of the 4 or 6# to the ground?
Thanks,
Simon

Just stick with a 4lber, make your life easier, from what I have read a 6lber just produces more heat than its worth, some will disagree but thats just my opinion
theres a reason why some call our blower a Heaton...
assuming you take the time to dyno and get a safe tune...
the only disadvantage that I can see to a #6 lower would be the extra tire wear!

I run a 6lower on my daily driver. i've got a built motor now, but I ran the 6 lower for 13,000 miles without the new motor.
I ran a 6lower and 1.5upper on my '01 truck with no problems.
good luck.

i've got a #6 on my daily driver with no problems so far...I ahd the 4# and eventually wanted something new, so the choice was obvious...I just wish I would have done the #6 in the beginning and saved myself some moeny...
