Well this is turning into a wishlist thread so here I go:

-Bucket Seats (Or atleast an option)
-5spd Auto tranny with console shifter
-Forged internals
-Wheels and Tires that fill the wheel well
-500/600
-Keep the same appearance of the Concept

From: Colorado,
Rather than repeat great comments and idea's I will just add.

GO ON A DIET!

Lghter weight suspension components.
Aluminum hood or Carbon Fiber.
Refine the brakes so 15"Wheels will fit (lighter weight).
Better sound insulation.
Honeycomb carbon fiber.
Lighter weight Glass that won't pit all around ( I am dreaming)
Two speed Rear end.
NHRA approved Roll cage. (Option)
Better cup holders
Traction control.

MOST IMPORTANT.
Make the new mods like tranny etc so that they will interchange and fit our existing L's.

Latemodel - yeah you hit it, can't give away a launch date either.

Crick - SVTOA officer - Special Vehicle Team Owners Association, President or other appointed officiers. Typically the Pres. goes, I happen to be the recruitment officier and being a newer SVTOA for Lee County Florida, my role is critical to growth.

Most of us have seen the proto types and as you are aware Ford and SVT are only interested in fine tuning prior to production.

Personally, when I saw the initial proto type I thought it was going to be a 2004 model and because I prefer our current Gen II, I bought an '03. Don't get me wrong the Gen III is awsome, but I still rest with the Gen II has better, sexier - body lines.

All a matter of taste and opinion.

D-Day

That would be SWEET !!! Factory installed, designed in,
and ready to race ... Make it a full roll cage so the SCCA
will be ok with it too ... and NASA, and everyone else ...

And while we are talking factory options .., how about some
Sparco seating and 5 point harnesses ????

I agree with you. I saw the Gen 3 concept at the Phila. Auto Show and was disappointed in its looks. I like my Gen 2 alot better.

If you could order a cage from the factory and it was verifiable through VIN lookup, I don't know if anyone would even sell you insurace.

Roll bar/cages are extremely dangerous on the street. They only add safety if you're wearing a helmet and are secured to the seat with a 5pt. harness. Imagine being in an accident and having your head or limbs slam against a giant round tube.
