Angry Anyone On Here Right Now? Quick Q!

Last night a rather large rock hit my grill on the freeway, it smashed my intercooler right where the hose connects. Im figuring its cheaper to go and get a aftermarket intercooler, since the dealership wants 600 for a new one. Any suggestions on intercoolers, where i can order one online, fast? and its pretty simple to install? unbolt the old one and install the new? and add the correct mixture of fluid/water??

THANK YOU

o.k. first calm down....its no big thing. 2nd thats whats called the heat exchanger its not the intercooler...the L intercooler is a liquid to air type located actually in the motor. the way it works is the exchanger takes the cold air and cools the liquid running through it which runs through the motor and cools the motor down. the Heat exchanger is an easy find..any and all of our supporting vendors carry their own version of one. just a matter of who you decide to give your business.

It's a pretty easy job as long as you're up on ramps or on a hoist. If you're on ramps, you're laying on your back which is'nt as easy as on a hoist, but it's not bad. I did mine on ramps. I got mine from LFP, but I think now they're almost all the same and I'm pretty sure today they all install the same. Took me about 2 hours to get the original one out, the new one in, and replace the fluid from draining the original.
