Oh, yeah. And I enjoy my role as a contrarian.

My tastes are clearly different from most on these boards. Case in point -- my wheels are already being discontinued after less than two years on the market. I waited for six months on these wheels -- they were the only ones for me (besides the out-of-reach HREs). Yet no one else seems interested in them.

I want the OEM look, more like European customizers. That does not seem to be real popular among the Lightning hardcore.

But it's all good.

Tim,

I personaaly love what you have done with your L. Very Clean and Stealthy. Yet it is tricked out.

You always seem to find a way to fit form and function.

If I had a Black truck (Never happen..To much work. LOL Besides almost every car I have owned has been RED) It would not look that much different then yours.

Thanks so much, Vinnie. I guess that we have a mutual admiration society, because I have always dug red Ls the most and, although you are way on the other end of the stealth scale, I have always admired your taste as well. And you have a great eye for photography. Your old sig pic of your old L was one of my all-time favorites.

Feel the love.

Well I just bit the bullet and got myself one of dem deer Pick-ah me-Up-Truck, bed covers....To hall me Wet Goats....Oh I, mean Dry goats...

Hey Tim how does the undercover weather the elements. Does it seal good? I dont want to get my Goats wet!

I realy like the look of your truck! I have been shoping around and the Fiberglass lids are $$$ around where I live. Once I saw the picts of your truck with the Undercover I was sold...Purchaced one last night! Model # 2060. Toal cost shiped was= $638

Ouick Question: Does it touch the paint on the side of the bed rails or tail gate? How much clearance does it give you? Thanks....

The fit is simply perfect. One of the advantages of using injection molding -- perfect part every time.

The weather seal seems great -- it completely covers the bed rails, but does not touch the paint.

But another nice touch -- they install rubber rub strips on the inside of the back edges. I assume that is done in case someone installs the cover too far forward, but if installed properly, there is just the right amount of gap all around.
