slicks

Im sure this question has been asked before, but besides the Hoosier 16s what other slicks are you guys using? If I get 15s what wheels are recomended? I dont want to pay $300 for each wheel. How much do I have to grind off the brakes? Are C05s better than C07s?

brake grinding thread

I haven't seen anybody running anything in a 15" but bogart as far as I can remember. even then the fit is TIGHT.

I think I have the C07 compound if I remember correctly. they are plenty soft/sticky.

later,
chris

I have been on 15" Slicks for 4 years and I don't have Bogarts. I still think you are going to spend nearly 300.00 per wheel.
Cheaper than burning up F1s though.

s.cal L 2,

I have Bassett Wide Five (like Nascar Wheel) Still have to shave Calipers but this will be my 5th year on these with no problems.

JDM also has a 15" rim that is steel I believe.
