I am tring to answer this ? for someone. So guys help me out here
how proven is this modification.... i understand the no/less oil in the intake manifold but how much crank case evacuation are you sacraficing with this mod... from what i can tell from this post the original lightning pcv alows pressure to move both ways... pcv's are only supposed to move one way (check valve) from inside motor(crankcase) to the intake manifold, taking blow by(raw fuel and other combustible gases) and re-introducing it into the intake to be burned, why do you restrict the flow of the pcv with the dime? as far as i know restricting the pcv system can also lead to lower ring seal (nothing major)
