Talking TALON gets an SRT10 Kill

Tom Lis of Talon put an SRT10 in it's place in bracket racing today. These poor guys just can't seem to find a strong point.....first heads up....and now spanked at brackets too

Awesome vid man!

A 13.85 out of a car with a bed...all for the bargain price of $45 grand...

My suspician that 90% of SRT owners will only be able to extract mid 13's out of these things is looking good so far.

I just let the man that did the **** whippin know I posted it here.....we will let him answer questions about his L.

I have to say...I took two other vids of that SRT10 running down the track.....not against L's...but his first was a 14.6x his second was a low 14 and the vid is his 3rd. He was getting better with each pass.....give him credit for that.

Tom took him out before he could get any more practice in....LMAO.

No. It's got a few goodies on it. I race at full weight (tailgate, bed lid, tow hitch) and my street program is more consistent than my race programs, so it has more potential in it. Here's what I can think of:

Apten Ported Eaton
Heat Exchanger
12" filter and power pipe
4-way Chip
4# lower pulley
PR built tranny with valve body

The program I was running puts 390HP/450ftlbs torque to the wheels.

Needless to say, I was yelling at the top of my lungs on the big end as I was reeling him in. He never let off and I caught his tailgate through the traps.

I give the guy props for improving every pass. It's good clean competition out there, but it was bestowed upon me to ensure that he got no more practice today.

Might be traffic on the server slowing it up.

Rocks....see if Doug will host it for us.

It is working now......right click it and save as to your computer. I don't know what it was doing....but the traffic is minimal.

13.082 @ 104. That was before all of the latest stuff and pretty close to perfect conditions. I got close today on one of my race programs in time trials, and beat the MPH by nearly 2MPH, but I haven't cracked a 12. I've been sitting on the fence for a few years now...just waiting for the little bit of extra wind to blow me over the other side!

Hey tliss,

could you please either post the timeslip from that run or send it to me? I'm really wanting to see how a SRT-10 performs at each point along the track.
