Calling all Vendors, How did you get here?

Just curious how you all got started. Do you work from home? Have a shop? etc...

BTW: Thanks for bringing us all the fantastic products that make us look good and go fast

I dunno how they got here but i know one thing.Without this site, none of them would be half as large as they are.If i remember correctly, one of them sold hot dogs, one was a ford tech and one was found praying to the lightning gods J/K

I think they all strted small and with the help of this website,They ended up with a very large customer base to work with. They all have good products, even some of the smaller vendors. With as many people on here or not,If they did not run their business correctly they wouldnt still be here.

you can feel comfortable buying from ANY of the supporting vendors,They are not going anywhere.

Well, I am usually a VERY private person, it's just my nature, and I gotta tell you, I spent most of the night at work just about ready to blow.
Within an hour of the now deleted post above, someone tried to confirm my college transcripts ( I have no idea how they know where I went to school, but it gets better) ran a credit check on both me and the business, ran my drivers license and Pilot Certificate (just a note to any potential ID thief, don't screw with someone's pilots license, I have a feeling after 9/11 the FAA would be pretty upset about that) etc....
Someone who knows me in the transcript office where I went to Grad school called me and let me know someone had called to confirm information, she warned me this is a not uncommon scam portal for identity theft. So I checked some other things and during lunch I checked some more things and found out someone has tried (and who knows if they succeeded, or how much) get more info on me than my mother has. Makes me want to blow something up

I'm just blown away by the losers in this world, and I'll prolly never post anything close to personall information again.

I hope you go after them, and find out who they are. I've seen identity theft in action it is not a pretty thing. Make sure you keep an eye out now for any weird activity on your credit report.

Good Luck,

Mike

This is actually a bit frightening. I am sorry this happened to you Greg, but it may help remind us that there are scum monitoring the forums, looking for an easy ride.

Note to scum.......Go get job before you mess with the wrong person and that person uses a private detective to track you down and then the person kills you and your whole worthless genetic pool .

It just shows you people shouldn't ask stupid questions on the Web, then again you probably should not have answered.

Sorry it caused you big time headaches.

Thumbs down

Wow, that sucks. Sounds stupid but that's kind of why I stay away from threads like:

What's your pet's name? (That is a backup question to a lot of passwords)
What do you look like?
Show me your house
Are you married or single?
What town do you live in?

There are a bunch of others I recall seeing but can't think of the specific titles. Identity theft sucks.
