a buddy in the TALON group has this and was a little curious about it...

do you think it really makes a difference? Is it dangerous by any means like NOS??

also, what are some other options??? what about something like propane?

 

I did some dyno testing @JDM with it. The only advantage I can see is that you can run more timing on lower octane pump gas. If you are running race fuel AND methanol injection then you will lose power due to running too rich. Even bumping the timning up to insane levels with the 104 octane/methanol combo yielded negative results over 3500 RPM. Using a 50/50 mixture of meth and water will lower your A/F ratio by just about one full point. You can you lean it out using the chip, but then it becomes counterproductive.

 

I can run 26 psi with 93 octane gas only and alcohol injection. Of course it works.

 

only if you are poorly tuned, is nitrous dangerous. yes alcy inj works.

 

Sure cleans up cylinder heads.

Windsheild washer fluid works good to. It has alchol to keep from freezing and removes carbon from top end.

They have alot of Alky knowlege there I ran Methanol/water 80/20 on my 11psi M45 eaton Miata works great you just need to spray the right amout too much and you loose HP too little and you don't get the full cooling benifit.

I plain on running alky injection this summer when i put my built lower in. 16lbs on 93 pump gas in 20 degree weather with no detonation is what im shooting for plus im gonna run a 75 shot on top of all this.

 

175 shot + SMC Kit + 22psi = Totally *ucking insane
