IN summations:
the Lightning has its problems, sparkplugs, warranty voiding happy dealers etc... But so does the SRT.

all ican say is that the SRT-10 better hope it meets me on the street before june because after that the built motors in turning up the boost, juice and watch out here i come

Hey John, there is an SRT-10 in JAsper now, I think its one of the Crumps 'cause I saw it sitting in front of one of their dealerships the other day and it aint for sale.....they were showing it off! If its Little Johns he will eventually look one of us up for a race, if he finds you first which he probably will b/c of my work schedule CALL ME!

ITs my neigbor, he is the manager of the john crump. I came home last night driving down the street and i was like WTF thats a SRT10 I stopped and took a gander at it but pulled in my drive. I am gonna gop talk to him today. I also am going ot the dodge place at one to look at the silver one there buterbean the boxer is suppose to be buying it so maybee ill meet him on street with it. They are all going down one by one

Well, the biggest issue is one they can't do anything about.

It's a Dodge

I think they made them for when people like "Da Purple RT" (anyone remember that guy????) win the Lotto.

I kind of miss those guys, really. They were like shooting fish ina barrel.

For those of you newer to the forum, he and his brother where a real riot. Somewhere in the middle of a semi heated discussion about why an RT was "insert derogatory term here" I just mentioned that X engine wasn't going to go into the RT anytime soon, mostly because DCX didn
t have a transmission that would handle the torque.

He replied, and I just loved this one

"And how would you know, like you know anytning about transmissions, have you ever even changed the fluid on one?"

This was , maybe April or May of 2000, I was still pretty new here. He was so entertaining that for a few months I even subscribed to a few RT sites.

there is a black one at one of our local dodge dealers in the service lot, the V10 decided to ***** part of the crank out the front.
