58" traction bars installed

I got tired of all the wheel hop and wheel spin i was getting with my metco uppers plus im lowering real soon so i decided to go with some 58" bars. But i got to looking at them and decided if my guys at the race shop can build a whole car from the ground up why not some traction bars for my truck. WEll i installed them tonight and here are some pics. Ill test them out tommorow

Ill make you a set if you really want some when the guys get finished with my new car. I bet shipping would be a bunch on these though.

Thumbs up

Are the link bars 58" or is it 58" eye-center to eye-center? Are the hiems threaded opposed (so that turning the bar with lengthen or shorted the link without disconecting)?

Thay look good and fairly easy to fab. I'm looking forward to your report on how well they work!!

Good Job,
Herb

LatemodelRacer2,

What is going to stop the rear curved plate from slipping around the axle housing? Looks kind of scarey to me, unless I'm missing something.

I'm with Tim here....

Your not going to prevent axl wrap, that plate on the under side of the axl looks like it will curl under load, but, I might be missing something here.

I think it is super cool that you are attempting to make your own bars, that's a big thumbs up!
