Need help with mods...
Hello all,
I just got my 2004 L a week ago and already want a few ideas on some mods. i am guessing a JL intake, 4# lower pulley, FTVB, and boost bypass. With those mods am i ok without a chip, or what would some of u recommend for now. My goal is to be mid to high 12's. thanx for all of yor help.

Go with JDM exhaust dont let anyone tell u other wise lol. Also get either a 4# or 6# lower pulley, CAI, FTVB a must i will have mine soon, Predator tuner, Drag radials a MUST, those are some good starting mods.. Then just whipe out the check book and purchase a KB lol...
thanx 01svtl, thats about where i want to be. I dont wanna get to carried away with the mods. I am really searching for a setup that will get me low to mid 12's that's not to over the top with mods, thats safe as a daily driver, and not to much in danger of making a $30K rolling bomb. any other thoughts 01svtl
I would do some research about running the 4# pulley with out a chip, Although the exhaust mentioned is awsome sounding( I have, and wouldn't trade for anything) your money is better spent on a chip. otherwise your list should have you in the ballpark.

Everything you mentioned is top-shelf stuff and I recommend it all, but, don't run that 4 pounder without a chip, you'll be flirting with danger.
You need the chip to get the full potential out of the engine and keep the rods inside the block.
