I just got the VIN for my '04 lightning, and when I do a carfax search it comes up as a F-150 Heritage. Is this normal? I looked at the F-150online thread on VIN decoding and it seems to be more for larger trucks. Can someone post their VIN even if it is just the first eleven digits that would be great.


BTW it's a '04 Sonic Blue Lightning but I will post once I actually have the keys in my hand.

 

All 04's that are not the new body style are "Heritage" models

I just thought the description would say Lightning instead of F-150.
I think I should have been more clear in the title of my thread. (but I can't see where to edit it)
I am not looking for a carfax report I was more curious if someone could post their VIN 1st eleven digits

both are 02's. One is dead
